Cher and I have been working with the amazing women at the Spirit Of Rock Network to do an exclusive series for their "Pretty Good For A Girl" podcast. It is our way to say Thank You to all of our supporters, especially the ones that have been there since the beginning.

 

We want to honor the mixologists, bartenders, bar managers, and bar owners that have had a huge part in making DIAGEO (the parent company and owners of Bulleit) speak out. We want something positive to come from our story and we want to advocate on your behalf. So it was a no-brainer to put our trust in the amazing kick ass women behind @prettygood_foragirl: Sailor, Jenny, and Kala.

Whiskey was never my driving passion; for me it was about the mixologists and cocktail culture. For several years now, I have been heartbroken by the loss of access to my community more so than the loss of my career. It has been an impossible situation. If I go to a bar I could be seen as supporting the brand or as instigating boycotts. We have been isolated, but we know that we are not alone due to your ongoing support.

The podcast has been a way for me to reconnect with what I loved about my career and the community that I sorely miss: cocktail enthusiasts, compassionate creative people, amazing conversations, advocacy, and support that feels like family.
